soak it up!

Picture this: you're in the grocery store getting your bare essentials, milk, bread, maybe some cap'n'crunch and there it is, your favorite design magazine. Without fail you, like me, probably flip through, get inspired and buy it. Someone may as well tattoo "sucker" across my forehead. Do I ever just bite the bullet and subscribe? No. Should I? Probably. But maybe there's a remedy...
Alas! I have recently found a resolution to my checkout lane magazine addiction! I have found the ultimate design blog that caters to my every creative whim minus the $4 and change: Design*Sponge! Developed by Brooklyn-based writer, Grace Bonney, in 2004, Design*Sponge has blossomed into one of the ultimate, must-read blogs on the web. I have fallen in love so much, that I've become a daily reader.

The blog features store and product reviews, city guides (all around the globe), DIY projects (do-it-yourself), before and after furniture and home makeovers, home tours, recipes, videos and trend forecasting...as you can see, it didn't start out so diverse, but with guest bloggers and an avid following D*S has become a hotbed for creatives all around the world! They also cover design shows for student, national and international levels.

I become inspired every time I visit D*S so I thought I'd pass it along...visit D*S and soak it up!
