Hello, DC!

For Labor Day weekend, Eric, his mom and I trucked up to Washington, DC for his cousin's wedding. On Sunday, Eric and I struck off on a mini adventure through the capital! It was absolutely gorgeous outside, so we did a lot of walking. We ate lunch at the National Gallery of Art garden and then went into tourist mode...
Eric & I at the Lincoln Memorial
Abe is Eric's favorite president
Hanging out at the Washington Monument
He couldn't resist!
Yay America!
Beautiful view looking back toward the Capital!
Our trip to DC was perfect and we had so much fun being tourists! I fell in love with the city (though I could do without the traffic). My list of things to do and see grew ten-fold, so I am really looking forward to our next visit! I've heard visiting in the spring is best so you can catch all of the Cherry Blossoms in full-bloom. What's your favorite DC activity?

xoxo
